The Basel Institute for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics ceb is dedicated to patient oriented research. We generate high quality evidence to improve patient outcome and decision making in health care. As an academic institution we promote and teach the skills to conduct competitive applied clinical research and to practice evidence-based medicine. 

The Basel Institute for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics ceb is associated with the University of Basel. The institute was created in 2001 as a foundation and is integrated into the University Hospital Basel.
